Rolling green hills, with the white peaks of the Alps as a backdrop, crossing the varied cradle of ‘slow food’ movement, through the famous vineyards of Barolo and Barbaresco. Taste the most famous regional dishes: the spicy ‘Bagna Cauda’, many fine chocolates, cheeses and tasty salami’s and, of course, the king of truffles, the famous white truffle of Alba. You start in the ‘hundred towered’ city of Alba, with Roman, Baroque and Gothic Architecture. Cycling through meadows and vineyards and meandering valleys topped with solid castles, you enter the area of the Alta Langa, the centre of “slow food” and the famous Barolo and Barbaresco wines. From Benevello you make a lovely round tour, meandering over watersheds with astonishing views, through hazelnut woods and several chapels, with terrific views along the ridges of Mombarcaro, the Alta Langa highest village, at 900m. The panoramas with the Alps in the background are magnificent. Through the Bormida valley, on a splendid little country lane, you will cycle to the famous SPA town of Acqui Terme, along the way there are several nice fortified villages and castles.

TRAVEL CONFIRMATION:
The trips will be confirmed in compliance with the minimums indicated in the detailed program for each Itinerary.
ASSIGNMENT OF SEATS
For coach trips, seats are assigned and remain fixed for the duration of the trip. It is essential that the customer reports any special requests upon registration, subject to confirmation by the agency. For air travel, a seat will be assigned at the request of the customer.
SPECIAL DIETS:
It is essential to report special dietary needs, allergies and intolerances at the time of registration. Shantaram Viaggi will communicate the Participants’ reports to the supplier, but recommends the interested customer to make sure directly on site, when the service is provided. The organizer cannot be held responsible for acts and / or omissions made by third parties or in the event of failure to report at the time of accession by the Participant.
NEWS SHEET:
On the day of departure, Participants will be given the program with all useful information for the trip, including addresses and hotel contacts, contact details for the tour leader and other useful information. Only on request it can also be sent by email 2/3 days before departure.
